Dr. Kai Sträter is the Head of Strategic Semiconductor Management at Dr.-Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG in Stuttgart, Germany. In his function he is driving the automotive paradigm shift in supply chain management for electronic components and semiconductors. He is also the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) spokesperson at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) regarding the semiconductor topic. Before engaging in semiconductor management, Kai held several positions within purchasing for various commodities including specialized project management. In his last function he led purchasing projects and supplier management at Bentley Motors Ltd. In Crewe, U.K., for over three years until 2019. Kai holds a Diploma of Engineering from the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH). He received his Doctoral Engineering Degree from the Technical University of Berlin (TU).
