Stephane RIOU, Transportation & Mobility Industry Solution Experience Director, has been working in DASSAULT SYSTEMES (3DS) since 2001.

After finishing his Master Degree as a mechanical engineer, he started as an application Engineer for CATIA CAE solutions in Korea and then in Japan, working with renowned customers like HONDA, HKMC, CHRYSLER and PSA.

In 2005, Stephane RIOU joined SIMULIA’s Simulation Lifecycle Management organization where he participated to the deployment of DASSAULT SYSTEMES’s solution at large automotive customers. After five years, he moved to Transportation & Mobility organization where he took the global leadership of:

• “Performance Validation Strategy” Process development, which helps Car & Truck OEMs and Suppliers to reduce costs associated to Product Validation and improve Product Reliability,
• and “Performance Driven Architecture” Process development which helps Car & Truck OEMs and Suppliers to optimize System Architecture and Performance by applying a System Thinking approach and upfront simulation

In 2016, Stephane RIOU moved to Korea as focal point for the whole Transportation & Mobility portfolio locally, working closely with domestic and Asia-Pacific customers, while keeping his previous activities on the development of dedicated Industry Process development.

Since 2021, he moved back to DASSAULT SYTEMES Head-quarter, to develop a new dedicated integrated and holistic solution on Vehicle Energy Management including Propulsion System, Thermal System and Battery Management System.
